For more than 48 years, Credit Unions United of Topeka, Kansas, has been dedicated to helping our members achieve financial security.

We are a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution, established to provide our members with the best possible financial services. We strive to meet individual needs, are committed to maintaining the credit union's long-term financial stability by safeguarding our members' assets, and work to ensure the future of our youth for generations to come.

Membership
Membership is a valuable package of benefits too good to pass up. You'll generally earn more on your savings and pay less for your loans. If you change employers, move, retire, or get married, you never have to leave Credit Unions United. Your membership is a foundation to last a lifetime.

Because credit unions are cooperative associations organized for the purpose of promoting thrift among members, to become a member you must:

  • Employees of American Telephone and Telegraph and its affiliate and subsidiary companies; members of their families; and organizations of such persons;
  • Employees of Southwestern Bell Communications and its affiliate and subsidiary companies; members of their families; and organizations of such persons;
  • Employees of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and its affiliate and subsidiary companies; members of their families; and organizations of such persons;
  • Members in good standing of United Steelworkers Union Local #307; members of their families; and organizations of such persons;
  • Members in good standing of American Legion Post #400; members of their families; and organizations of such persons;
  • Individuals living, working, or paid from the following counties in Kansas: Shawnee, Douglas, Jefferson, Jackson, Pottawatomie, Wabaunsee, Osage, Crawford, Bourbon, Neosho, Labette, Marshall, Nemaha, Brown, Atchison, Leavenworth, Johnson, Miami, Franklin, Lyon, Morris, Geary Riley, Coffey, Allen, Linn, Woodson, Allen, Wilson, Montgomery and Cherokee; members of their families; and organizations of such persons;
  • Employees of this Credit Union and its affiliate and subsidiary companies; members of their families; and organizations of such persons.
  • Patrons of educational institutions of Kansas.

If you are eligible and wish to enjoy the benefits of membership in Credit Unions United, you must sign up in person at our main office. Simply come in, make a minimum deposit of $5 and open your share account.
